BANANA SMOOTHIE RECIPES

Banana Smoothie

This one fruit plain Banana Smoothie is the simplest to prepare but even though it only contains bananas it tastes great

Ingredients

Ensure that the liquid ingredients are cold.

4 ripe bananas
3 cups skim milk
½ cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp honey
6 cracked ice cubes [ of course this will depend on their size ]

For a healthier drink use low fat yogurt

To make the Banana Smoothie

Peel the bananas and chop them coarsely

Place all the ingredients in a blender, and blend until well combined.

Pour into 4 glasses.

Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients:

2½ ripe bananas
2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
1 can of ice-cold lemonade [ginger ale also works a treat]
10 cracked ice cubes (depending again on the size of your ice cubes ]

Making the Peanut Butter Smoothie

Peel and coarsely chop the Bananas

Blend together the bananas, peanut butter and lemonade/ginger ale

Add the ice and blend until fully combined.

Pour into glasses and serve.

Those who like peanut butter will find this smoothie sheer indulgence
